Rhode Island Worker Co-ops — A Commonplace Guidebook
As you might have heard by now, November 2024 is Co-op Month here in Rhode Island!
As part of its efforts to celebrate the successes of the local solidarity economy movement and raise awareness around worker-owned cooperatives, Commonplace Cooperative is aiming to publish an artful and informative digital RI Co-ops Guide by the end of 2024.
This guide will serve as an introduction to the local co-ops scene and as a record of co-ops’ recent history and successes in the state. The guide’s will also feature profiles of various co-ops and their worker-owners, accompanied by pictures, interviews, and illustrations.
